<p>Apply</p> <p>Description</p> <p>The post closer is responsible to accurately prepare loans for delivery to investors and/or servicers, track and clear file exceptions, and ensure that all loans are closed in conformance with underwriting/ compliance guidelines.</p> <ul> <li>Review signed documents for errors </li><li>Upload and break out documents in Loan Origination System (LOS) and assigning conditions </li><li>Register MERS and/or MI and paying FHA/VA fee </li><li>Ship collateral to investors </li><li>Create and upload shipping packages to investors for secondary market loans </li><li>Create and upload shipping packages to EFolder for portfolio loans </li><li>Register tax service for portfolio loans and creating physical folder </li><li>Send payments to appraisers </li><li>Process application deposits </li><li>Send funding wires </li><li>Handle all post-closing investor conditions required to purchase note </li><li>Transfer MERS and MI when secondary market loan is purchased </li><li>Send goodbye, insurance and/or property tax letters </li><li>Handle follow up and collection of recorded mortgages and final title policies for all loan types within 120 days of closing </li><li>Monitor tracking reports for funding and suspense items and escalate where needed </li><li>Provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers </li></ul> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Well developed communication skills </li><li>Strong attention to detail </li><li>Reading and proofreading skills </li><li>Excellent time management and organization skills </li><li>Able to exercise appropriate judgment and seek/involve management when necessary </li><li>Ability to accept management instruction and execute tasks while under pressure </li><li>Strong customer service orientation </li><li>Proficient computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite </li><li>Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment </li></ul>
