<p>Job Location:</p> <p>Corporate Indianapolis</p> <p>PRIMARY PURPOSE:</p> <p>The Director, Integrated Marketing will be instrumental in translating strategic marketing vision into actionable programs. This highly collaborative role will help surface meaningful consumer insights, spot emerging trends, and bring culturally relevant ideas to life through dynamic programs, collaborations and placemaking initiatives. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategist and doer-passionate about turning insights into impactful consumer experiences across Simon's portfolio of shopping destinations.</p> <p>PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Partner closely with the VP, Integrated Marketing to turn strategic insights into compelling marketing programs, activations, and campaigns that resonate with priority consumer segments. </li><li>Analyze market research, competitive landscapes, and cultural trends to identify actionable insights that inform and inspire marketing initiatives. </li><li>Be a passionate trend spotter and cultural observer-drawing inspiration from social platforms, consumer behavior shifts, entertainment, and emerging technologies-to concept, pitch, and bring to life creative marketing programs aligned with business objectives. </li><li>Develop and support integrated programs-including placemaking initiatives and national events-that position Simon shopping destinations as vibrant, culturally relevant, and must-visit locations. </li><li>Collaborate closely with internal teams-including Creative, Digital, Media, Brand Ventures, and Field Marketing-to ensure seamless execution and alignment across all touchpoints. </li><li>Manage timelines, cross-functional collaboration, and executional details to ensure flawless program delivery. </li><li>Partner with and manage key external agencies and collaborators to align on strategy, drive innovation, and ensure successful execution. </li><li>Evaluate program performance, contribute to ongoing optimization, and communicate key results to leadership and stakeholders. </li></ul> <p>MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or related field </li><li>8+ years of experience in a strategic marketing and/or advertising role </li><li>Strong ability to analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and cultural insights to inform marketing strategy </li><li>Proven track record of developing and executing innovative, insight-led marketing programs </li><li>Deep understanding of digital marketing, content strategy, and consumer engagement </li><li>Naturally curious with a creative mindset-able to connect unexpected ideas and draw inspiration from social media, pop culture, and emerging trends </li><li>Excellent collaboration, communication, and project management skills </li><li>Experience working cross-functionally and leading initiatives in fast-paced environments </li><li>Willingness to travel and work non-traditional hours as needed for events, activations, and on-site support. </li><li>Motivated, flexible, and energized by the opportunity to make a visible impact </li></ul>
