This role will support the Director, Sustainability, to advance firm-wide sustainability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in sustainable design related to architecture and/or interior design. This internship offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sustainable architecture and contribute to meaningful projects.</p> <p>Your Role</p> <ul> <li>Collaborate with design teams to incorporate sustainable practices into project planning and execution </li><li>Assist in performing energy and carbon analyses on materials and projects </li><li>Help organize and participate in sustainability workshops and events </li><li>Maintain and update sustainability databases and resources </li><li>Assist in development and implementation of sustainability strategies and initiatives across the firm </li><li>Foster a culture of sustainability within the firm </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Currently enrolled in a degree program related to architecture or interior design with a focus on environmental science </li><li>Preferred minimum junior year of college </li><li>Strong interest in sustainable design in the built environment </li><li>Excellent research and analytical skills </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) </li><li>Experience in the use of Revit </li><li>Familiarity with sustainability software and tools is a plus </li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills </li><li>Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks </li></ul> <p>$18 - $22 an hour</p> <p>The compensation range is $18-$22/hr, plus benefits.
