<p>Summary:</p> <p>We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Preschool Teacher to join our team. This role involves working with young children, including those with developmental delays and disabilities, in a supportive and engaging learning environment. The teacher will create and implement developmentally appropriate lesson plans, foster social-emotional growth, and collaborate with families and support staff to ensure each child's success.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Develop and implement individualized and group lesson plans that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. </li><li>Adapt curriculum to meet the unique needs of children with developmental delays or disabilities. </li><li>Utilize play-based and hands-on learning strategies to engage young learners. </li><li>Monitor and assess student progress, maintaining detailed records and adjusting instruction as needed. </li><li>Provide a safe, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment. </li><li>Collaborate with speech therapists, occupational therapists, and other specialists to support children's developmental goals. </li><li>Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers, providing regular updates and guidance on child development. </li><li>Assist children in developing self-help skills, including feeding, toileting, and dressing when necessary. </li><li>Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). </li><li>Participate in ongoing professional development and training to enhance teaching practices. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field. </li><li>Certification: State teaching license or certification in early childhood education and/or special education (as required by state regulations). </li><li>Experience: Prior experience working with preschool-aged children, especially those with developmental delays or disabilities. </li><li>Skills: Strong communication, patience, adaptability, and collaboration skills. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working with IEPs and special education programs. </li><li>Knowledge of behavior management strategies and inclusive teaching practices. </li></ul> <p>Work Environment:</p> <p>This position requires working in a preschool classroom setting, engaging with young children in various activities, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.</p> <p>Eastern Pulaski offers a robust benefits package to employees including:</p> <p>Onsite Childcare</p> <p>Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and Long Term Disability Insurance</p> <p>Onsite Health Clinic</p> <p>Retirement Plan</p> <p>24/7 Access to Virtual Medical Care</p> <p>Financial Wellness Coaching</p> <p>Health Coaching</p>
