<p>Job Advertisement</p> <p>Keene Parks and Recreation is looking for friendly energetic workers to join their team of Pool Collection Attendants this summer! You can have a fun job that allows you to earn a paycheck build your resume and work experience and make a difference for the children and families in your community! Duties include: checking season passes collecting daily fees answering the phone in a friendly manner and keeping the desk and pool house areas neat and clean! Pay rates will range from $9- $10 per hour. Hours are Monday-Friday 1pm-7pm and Saturday and Sunday 12pm-6pm. All applicants must be at least 14 years old and all applicants aged 18 and older are required to pass a Criminal Background Check. Job Description: Pool Collection Attendant.pdf THE CITY OF KEENE IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Works under the general supervision of the Recreation Programmer.</p> <p>Pool staff are required to adhere to all guidelines outlined in the Pool Staff Guidelines.</p> <p>Responsible for the organization and cleanliness of the pool facilities; supplies; and equipment.</p> <p>Prevent youth from using entrance as a hangout.</p> <p>Keep lost and found neat.</p> <p>Check season passes on a regular basis.</p> <p>Collect daily fees in a courteous manner.</p> <p>Answer the phone with a friendly voice stating the pool location.</p> <p>Keep desk area clean.</p> <p>No unauthorized personnel in the room at any time.</p> <p>Helps the lifeguards to keep the pool house clean and will help with nightly cleaning of the bathrooms.</p> <p>Acts as a liaison between the Recreation Department; campers; and parents.</p> <p>All applicants must be available to work Monday - Friday; 1:00 - 7:00 p.m.; and Saturday & Sunday 12:00 - 6:00 p.m.</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <p>All applicants must be 14 years or older and are required to have knowledge of basic math skills.
