<p>Overview:</p> <p>As an Operations Supervisor, a key member of the Wallenius Wilhelmsen operations team, you will support the General Manager in our high-productivity Vehicle Processing Center (VPC).</p> <p>The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday with a shift of 2pm-10pm</p> <p>Note-this role requires the flexibility to work shifts, weekends and holidays</p> <p>Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL DO</p> <ul> <li>Oversee operations at Wallenius Wilhelmsen's Vehicle Processing Center </li><li>Lead continuous process improvements </li><li>Achieve a safe and cost-efficient work environment </li><li>Meet performance targets </li><li>Responsible for promoting and helping develop a culture of a safe work environment for all employees and visitors through compliance with the WWS Health & Safety. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>WHAT YOU'LL NEED</p> <ul> <li>3 or more years supervisory experience in manufacturing or logistics </li><li>Ability to drive manual and automatic transmissions </li><li>Solid understanding of revenue drivers and efficiency standards to deliver positive financial results </li><li>Experience leading continuous process improvements </li><li>Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel software applications </li></ul> <p>EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE</p> <ul> <li>1-2 years' experience in an automotive or warehousing environment </li><li>A passion to develop, motivate, and coach employees for their professional development, and future growth of the company </li><li>Inspiring change through communication at all impacted levels </li></ul> <p>ABOUT YOU</p> <ul> <li>You're a collaborative leader with a background in operations </li></ul> <p>ABOUT US</p> <p>Wallenius Wilhelmsen is an iconic shipping and logistics company with premium end-to-end supply chain management.
