<p>The Food and Beverage Manager oversees all operational, financial, and service aspects of food and beverage services, ensuring exceptional member/guest experiences while maintaining compliance with health and safety standards. This role requires leadership in team development, inventory management, and strategic decision-making to drive profitability and operational efficiency.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Operational Management</p> <p>Menu & Inventory: Design and update menus, forecast inventory needs, and source high-quality ingredients while adhering to budget constraints.</p> <p>Daily Operations: Supervise pre-shift preparations, ensure cleanliness/safety standards, and resolve service disruptions (e.g., staff call-outs, last-minute reservations.)</p> <p>Financial Oversight: Monitor costs, optimize labor scheduling, and contribute to achieving financial targets.</p> <p>Compliance: Enforce food safety regulations, health codes, and HR policies (e.g., record retention, employee confidentiality).</p> <p>Staff Leadership</p> <p>Training & Development: Train staff in service standards, menu knowledge, and POS systems; conduct performance evaluations and address grievances.</p> <p>Team Motivation: Foster a positive work environment, empower staff to resolve member issues, and maintain uniform/grooming standards.</p> <p>Customer Service</p> <p>Quality Assurance: Ensure consistent meal quality, resolve complaints promptly, and conduct table touches to gauge satisfaction.Event Support: Assist with banquets/events, including setup, service, and breakdown</p> <p>HR & Administrative</p> <p>Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate employee records, adhere to retention timelines (e.g., 7-year rule for terminated files), and ensure secure storage of personnel data</p> <p>Software Proficiency: Use restaurant management tools (e.g., POS systems, inventory software) and Microsoft Office for scheduling and reporting</p> <p>Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Experience: Minimum 3 years in food and beverage management or related hospitality roles. </li><li>Bachelor's degree in hospitality and Tourism is preferred. </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office </li><li>Experience with Jonas Encore preferred. </li><li>Wine and Alcohol beverage knowledge (certifications preferred). </li><li>Tips and Food Safety Certifications are preferred. </li><li>Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities. </li><li>Knowledge of health/safety regulations and HR compliance. </li><li>Proficiency in inventory forecasting and budget management. </li></ul>
