<p>We are looking for a skilled and dedicated HR Generalist to join our team on a temporary basis. The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting HR directors in various human resources functions, such as recruitment, managing personnel data, and producing documents. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of HR best practices and demonstrate the ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and discretion.</p> <p>This is a temporary, part-time, hourly position.</p> <p>Example of Duties:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations. </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records. </li><li>Process part-time renewals in SoftDocs. </li><li>Process unemployment claims. </li><li>Design, produce, and analyze reports. </li><li>Assist with processing of all new hires, including the completion of I-9 verifications and background checks. </li><li>Post and maintain job vacancies. </li><li>Assist with preparation of the monthly Board packet. </li><li>Aid with the onboarding of new full-time employees. </li><li>Execute various office tasks such as scheduling meetings, responding to emails, and filing. </li><li>Update HR databases. </li><li>Complete data entry assignments. </li><li>Perform other tasks as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required. </li><li>Minimum of three (3) years of experience in a HR Generalist role or equivalent position required. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. </li><li>Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Kronos, Workday) and Microsoft Office Suite preferred. </li><li>Excellent math, communication, and strong analytic skills required. </li></ul> <p>The completion of a background check will be required for the selected candidate.</p> <p>Compensation: Compensation is determined by a variety of criteria, including but not limited to, previous relevant experience, education level, and certifications. The minimum hourly pay for this position is $25.</p> <p>Benefits:</p> <ul> <li>New Jersey Sick Leave: Earn 1 hour of sick leave for every 30 hours worked with a maximum of 40 hours of leave per benefit year.
