As an HR Generalist, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the HR department and ensuring a positive and productive work environment for all employees. You will be responsible for a wide range of HR functions, providing support across the employee lifecycle.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities</p> <p>Recruitment and Onboarding:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct background checks and reference checks.</p> </li><li> <p>Facilitate the new employee onboarding process, including orientation and HRIS system introduction.</p> </li><li> <p>Processing of immigration documentation</p> </li></ul> <p>Employee Relations:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, providing guidance on HR policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Mediate and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.</p> </li><li> <p>Promote a positive and inclusive work environment.</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits Administration:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist employees with benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate annual open enrollment processes.</p> </li><li> <p>Liaise with benefits providers as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>HR Policy and Compliance:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Assist in the development, implementation, and communication of HR policies and procedures.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation.</p> </li></ul> <p>Performance Management:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Support the implementation of the performance management process, including goal setting, feedback, and performance reviews.</p> </li><li> <p>Assist managers and employees with performance-related matters.</p> </li></ul> <p>Training and Development:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Identify employee training and development needs.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate and facilitate training sessions and workshops.</p> </li><li> <p>Track employee training records.</p> </li></ul> <p>HRIS Management:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain and update employee data in the Human Resources Information System (HRIS).</p> </li><li> <p>Generate HR reports and analytics as needed.</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure data integrity and accuracy.</p> </li></ul> <p>Offboarding:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Conduct exit interviews and gather feedback.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage the administrative aspects of employee terminations.</p> </li></ul> <p>Other HR Duties:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Participate in HR projects and initiatives.</p> </li><li> <p>Provide administrative support to the HR department as needed.</p> </li></ul> <p>Experience and Education</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>1-3 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar HR role.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong understanding of HR principles, practices, and employment laws.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.</p> </li><li> <p>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).</p> </li><li> <p>Experience with HRIS systems (Workday)</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</p> </li><li> <p>[PHR or SHRM certification is a plus].</p> </li></ul> <p>Required Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication</p> </li><li> <p>Strong interpersonal skills</p> </li><li> <p>Problem-solving and analytical abilities</p> </li><li> <p>Organizational and time-management skills</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of employment laws and regulations</p> </li><li> <p>HRIS proficiency</p> </li><li> <p>Confidentiality and discretion</p> </li><li> <p>Teamwork and collaboration</p> </li><li> <p>Training and facilitation skills</p> </li><li> <p>Basic understanding of payroll processes</p> </li></ul> <p>Benefits Summary</p> <ul> <li> <p>High quality voluntary health, vision, disability, life, and dental insurance programs</p> </li><li> <p>401K Matching Plan</p> </li><li> <p>Employee Stock Purchase Plan</p> </li><li> <p>Paid holidays, vacation, and sick leave</p> </li><li> <p>Corporate sponsored programs to enhance employee physical, financial, mental, and emotional wellness</p> </li><li> <p>Financial Solution Program</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity:</p> <p>Goosehead is an equal-opportunity employer and complies with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules, guidelines, and regulations.
