<p>Overview</p> <p>Position: Occupational Therapist - Hand Therapist</p> <p>Location: 300 Polaris Parkway, suite 160, Westerville, OH 43082</p> <p>Schedule: PRN, Flexible Schedule!</p> <p>Compensation: Hourly, starting at $45/Hr and up, commensurate with experience</p> <p>NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a PRN Hand Therapist-Occupational Therapist for our outpatient orthopedic center! Although a certified hand therapist (CHT) is preferred, we are willing to consider occupational therapists with a level II fieldwork in hands (required). We have a network of hand therapists and CHTs available for support and are excited to mentor occupational therapists aspiring to be a CHT.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Collaboration: Supervise assistants and aides and contribute to case management. </li><li>High Standard of Care: Stay current and up to date with occupational therapy research and employ Evidence Based Practice (RCB, clinician expertise, patient perception). </li><li>Personalized Treatment: Provide comprehensive and individualized treatment, from evaluating and creating a plan of care to treatment and discharge. </li><li>Relationship-Building: Maintain positive level of interaction with centers and patients. Enhance and expand client relations with facilities and their staff. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Graduate of an American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA) -accredited school of occupational therapy </li><li>CPR certified </li><li>Valid driver's license </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least two years of experience in the application of custom splinting pre and post-op orthopedic </li><li>Minimum two years in adult rehabilitation; hand and splinting experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Additional Data</p> <p>Select Medical is committed to having a workforce that reflects diversity at all levels and is an equal-opportunity employer.
