<p>Work Schedule</p> <p>Standard (Mon-Fri)</p> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>Office</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>As a key member of the Americas Clinical Trials Division Accounting Team, the position will be responsible for driving a controllership vision. The role will ensure the integrity of accounting and financial reporting by providing leadership, process knowledge and technical expertise. This position will report directly to the Controller.</p> <p>Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Responsible for the accounting operations for Five North American sites and Latin America. </li><li>Lead all aspects of the financial close process guiding the controllership to meet Corporate Guidelines and reporting requirements. </li><li>Coordinate division-specific accounting and reporting to ensure entries are accurate and in accordance with U.S. GAAP, produced in a timely fashion. </li><li>Collaborate closely with FP&A teams to understand variances to budget and forecast, providing insights into the financial impact of future transactions and decisions. </li><li>Build a sustainable highly effective control environment instituting end-to-end accounting process standards, with a common framework and governance. </li><li>Drive strategies to improve controllership efficiencies, and scalability, including the application and execution of policy, process and system governance. </li><li>Contributes towards continuous improvement in all areas including revenue recognition. </li><li>Mentor and develop an impactful team. </li><li>Collaborate to ensure successful ERP implementation. </li><li>Support internal and external auditor request. </li><li>Strong business partner working closely with other business functions to drive positive change. </li><li>Demonstrates and promotes the company vision. </li><li>Provide leadership and manage daily operations. </li></ul> <p>Education/Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance </li><li>CPA Highly Preferred </li><li>7+ Years Accounting experience </li><li>Strong knowledge of GAAP </li><li>Experience with ERP General Ledger and Excel </li></ul> <p>Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to work cross-functionally and manage by influence across a global organization </li><li>Outstanding leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong understanding of revenue recognition </li><li>Experience in automation tools and implementation </li><li>Intellectual curiosity, versatility, adaptability </li><li>Effective communication across Senior leadership and Group Executives </li><li>Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail </li></ul>
