<p>Work Schedule</p> <p>10 hr shift/nights</p> <p>Environmental Conditions</p> <p>Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance, Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards, Cleanroom: no hair products, jewelry, makeup, nail polish, perfume, exposed piercings, facial hair etc... allowed, Cold Room/Freezers -22degreesF/-6degrees C, Laboratory Setting, Loud Noises (Equipment/Machinery), Some degree of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs etc.)</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Join Thermo Fisher Scientific to make a global impact, develop solutions, and achieve career goals.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>Lead Packaging Room team in timely, accurate assembly and labeling of pharmaceuticals, ensuring regulatory compliance.</p> <p>Shift: Monday - Friday, 2:45pm - 1:30am</p> <p>Essential Functions:</p> <ul> <li>Review batch paperwork daily to perform the required packaging procedures for assembly of each study. </li><li>Assume responsibility for all activities performed within your assigned production room. </li><li>At job completion, ensure all materials are accounted for and detailed, meeting accountability limits specified in the SOPs. </li><li>Accurately count and prepare packaging supplies to ensure accurate inventory prior to and at the completion of each job order. </li><li>Ensure product meets our acceptability and quality standards. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications (including proficiencies, education, experience, physical requirements):</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED is required. </li><li>Minimum 3 years of experience working in a manufacturing, packaging, production, or related job preferred. </li><li>Assist Quality Assurance personnel and Production Supervisors in staging and reconciliation of components as needed. </li><li>Perform final checks of work in-process and finished products, then pack these goods into appropriately labeled containers. </li><li>Clean production rooms and machinery to meet acceptability requirements, ensuring the safety and well-being of those receiving our products. </li><li>Coordinate multiple rooms in the area. </li><li>Read and interpret procedure manuals, training materials, and product records. </li><li>Independently follow procedures and instructions and mentor new employees. </li><li>Be a great teammate who completes tasks safely, accurately, and timely, helping others as needed. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Experience working in the pharmaceutical or food and beverage industry. </li><li>Ability to stand for long intervals of time and lift or move up to 25 lbs. </li><li>Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and gowns in work centers. </li><li>Vision Acuity with minimum 20/40 corrected vision and color vision. </li></ul>
