Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.</p> <p>What you'll do:</p> <p>The Senior Computer Aided Design (CAD) Technician's will support capital project execution to increase capacity and improve productivity for the division. The Technician will provide detailed CAD drawings to help design work cells and specify technical requirements for new equipment and facilities. They will work with the Operations team to provide tooling, equipment, and facilities drawings to support an environment of continuous improvement.</p> <p>In this role you will:</p> <ul> <li>Create and maintain detailed CAD drawings to support completion of capital projects. This work includes equipment and facility layouts and is very detailed. </li><li>Support the Operations team with detailed drawings for plant layout, tool and process improvements and safety improvements. </li><li>Assist Program Managers and Project Leaders with development of equipment technical specifications. </li><li>Participate in 3P events as required. </li><li>Engage in Work Breakdown Structure events to provide technical expertise. </li><li>Take part in project and departmental meetings as required. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>Basic Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High School diploma or GED. </li><li>One (1) year of experience with AutoCAD software including formal training. </li><li>Two (2) years of experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. </li><li>Three (3) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Must be eligible to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future. </li><li>Relocation assistance will be provided for candidates that reside outside a 50-mile location of Waukesha, WI. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Associate's Degree in a technical field. </li><li>Five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Ability to balance multiple priorities and work with employees from multiple Eaton sites. </li><li>Basic experience with Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel, etc. </li><li>Experience with manufacturing processes used to produce transformers, voltage regulators, or other electrical hardware. </li><li>Ability to communicate directly with construction contractors and equipment manufacturers to create and maintain detailed CAD documents. </li></ul> <p>Skills:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to travel up to 10% </li><li>Demonstrated openness to change and continuous improvement. </li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills. </li><li>Strong interpersonal skills. </li><li>Demonstrated problem-solving ability and an innovative mind set. </li><li>Practical experience and understanding of the electrical industry such as construction and industrial markets. </li></ul> <p>We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for all job applicants and employees.
