We help you make it!</p> <p>Our Payroll Clerk II's make $26.00 - $28.00 per hour, depending on experience</p> <ul> <li>Benefits Start Day 1! </li><li>Medical, dental, vision, 401K, life insurance, strong safety culture, and much more! </li><li>US FOODS is the company built on YOU Matter, where your hard work is rewarded </li><li>We are committed to compensation, benefits that respect, and reward our employees for their dedication and hard work </li><li>Service recognition and employee rewards </li><li>Company with a history of promotion from within and unlimited career growth opportunities w/ ongoing job skills and leadership development training Excellent Leadership </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <p>Monday - Friday, 8am - 4:30pm (Some flexibility)</p> <p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The US Foods Payroll Clerk II provides payroll and clerical support in an effort to deliver accurate and timely finance and payroll services in support of the Area Finance Manager.</p> <p>ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Perform assigned payroll and related clerical support functions including data entry and record retention </li><li>Complete payroll related activities, including timekeeping review and maintenance, and pay calculations </li><li>May perform one or more of the following functions: internal cash collection and processing, special order /drop ship billing processing, processing Credit/Debit memos </li><li>Establish and sustain effective communication and coordination between distribution center, Head Office and Shared Service Center personnel in researching, tracking, and resolving payroll and accounting, customer and vendor related issues </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <p>Education/Training: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree in Finance, Accounting or Business a plus.</p> <p>Related Experience: Must possess minimum of 4 years related Payroll clerical experience; previous Accounting and General Ledger experienced preferred; foodservice distribution or similar distribution experience a plus. Kronos highly preferred; Workday experience is desired.</p> <p>Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Requires in depth knowledge in computerized accounting techniques and of accounting principles. Strong organizational skills required. Must be detail oriented with ability to maintain accurate records.
