Please find below an exciting opportunity a current educator in the Hoboken Public School District family!</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>The Academic Support Center is the academic heartbeat of Hoboken High School-a place where students find expert tutoring, tailored intervention, and the confidence to thrive in coursework and extra curricular activities. We are seeking an energetic, student-centered Academic Support Center Coordinator to lead this work. You will design, deliver, and continuously improve a robust menu of in-person and virtual supports that keep every Redwing on track for graduation, NCAA eligibility, and post-secondary success.</p> <p>This opportunity would include the following requirements and qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>NJ Instructional or Non-Instructional Certification </li><li>Minimum of 10 years school based experience required </li><li>Supervisor or Principal Certification preferrred </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Works collaboratively with High School Administration to organize daily tutoring programs & home instruction </li><li>Participates on the I&RS Team </li><li>Works closely with the CST & Directors of SBYSP and Special Services </li><li>Works collaboratively with Guidance Counselors to monitor absences and grades of all students </li><li>Works collaboratively with the Athletic Director to monitor grades of student athletes, ensure NCAA eligibility of all athletes, and assist with the college athlete recruitment process </li><li>Works collaboratively with the Stevens Institute of Technology's Work Study Coordinator </li><li>Designs academic support programs and prep programs for all students </li><li>Oversees virtual learning programs </li><li>Ensure the ongoing growth and expansion of the Academic Support Center, ensuring it evolves with the changing academic, social-emotional, and extracurricular needs of our students. The ideal candidate will have the ability to not only manage current programming but also innovates and scales new initiatives that promote equity, access, and academic excellence across all student groups. </li></ul> <p>Compensation</p> <p>As per HEA Contract</p>
