<p>Title Director of Talent Management Full or Part Time Full Time Number of Months 12 Months Proposed Date of Employment 04/15/2025 Work Schedule</p> <p>A minimum 37.5-hour work week as determined with supervisor, including occasional evenings</p> <p>and weekends, is required.</p> <p>Permanent or Temporary Permanent Salary Band Salary Range $66,000-$99,000</p> <p>Position Summary Information</p> <p>Position Summary</p> <p>The Director of Talent Management is responsible for leading all HR functional areas with a focus on recruitment, retention, and professional development processes. This position is also responsible for addressing personnel matters.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <p>Talent Management</p> <ul> <li>Provide strategic direction to the HR department. </li><li>Collaborate with departments campuswide to identify and recruit new employees to the College who meet and exceed position qualifications. </li><li>Design and implement robust onboarding procedures that support talent retention. </li><li>Support the annual employee review process. </li><li>Assist campus partners in determining professional development (PD) needs and facilitate regular PD sessions. </li><li>Lead the resolution of all personnel matters. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Oversee all HR functions related to payroll and benefits. </li><li>Support Manager of Employee Services in engagement with current and prospective benefits vendors. </li><li>Ensure College employees receive adequate advisement on benefits options, especially during onboarding and open enrollment periods. </li></ul> <p>Other</p> <ul> <li>Ensure the timely completion of part-time contracts. </li><li>Support the development and implementation of sound campus safety procedures. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ol> <li> <p>Working knowledge of all human resources (HR) functional areas.</p> </li><li> <p>Extensive knowledge of talent management processes, including recruitment, retention, and professional development.</p> </li><li> <p>Familiarity with federal and state HR regulations and reporting requirements.</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced supervisory skills.</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency in HR-related software platforms.</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an ability to present to campuswide audiences.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to adequately address personnel matters.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to make decisions that advance the Isothermal Community College mission.</p> </li></ol> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in human resources management, business administration, or a related field, required. </li><li>Minimum five years of human resources experience, required. </li><li>Community college experience, preferred.
