Find your next professional home at PrimaryOne Health!</p> <p>WORK FOR US!</p> <p>PrimaryOne Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Dental Assistant for our Columbus health centers.</p> <p>Essential Job Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Readies and maintains the work area to receive each patient. </li><li>Performs direct, four-handed, chair side assistance. </li><li>Provides instruction on oral hygiene, dental treatment, and nutrition to patients. </li><li>Records examination findings; collects and records clinical data, such as vital signs. </li><li>Exposes processes and mounts radiographs. </li><li>Maintains equipment and dental operatory. </li><li>Maintains inventory. </li><li>Sterilizes instruments, disinfects surfaces and uses aseptic techniques in accordance with infection control policies. </li><li>Uses standard precautions. </li><li>Assists front desk staff as necessary. </li><li>Attendance, promptness, professionalism, the ability to pay attention to detail, cooperativeness with co-workers and supervisors. </li><li>Exhibit good customer service skills towards customers, vendors, and patients. </li><li>Occasional travel required. </li><li>Other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Successful candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Satisfactory completion of a dental assistant training program approved by the Ohio State Dental Board or certification as a dental assistant by the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB). One to three years of experience as a clinical dental assistant. Valid State of Ohio Dental Assistant Radiographer Certificate. Current BLS certification.
