<p>MAU is hiring a Buyer for our client in Greenville, SC. As a Buyer, you will lead the development and execution of purchasing processes within the Materials Management Organization. You will strategically develop and manage a global supply plan for goods and services, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency. This is a contract position with direct-hire potential. This is an 18-month contract project with direct hire potential.</p> <p>Benefits Package</p> <ul> <li>401k matching </li><li>Health insurance </li><li>Short term disability </li><li>Long term disability </li><li>Paid time off </li></ul> <p>Shift Information</p> <ul> <li>Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM </li></ul> <p>Required Education and Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree OR a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing, materials planning, inventory management, or warehouse/distribution centers </li><li>4 years of experience in a Buyer, Purchasing, or Scheduler position </li></ul> <p>Essential Functions</p> <ul> <li>Ensure timely creation and release of Purchase Orders to support the primary schedule </li><li>Collaborate with supply partners and Materials Resource Planners to drive fulfillment activities and ensure on-time delivery </li><li>Manage relationships with suppliers for PO execution, including scheduling changes and cancellations </li><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in the ERP system </li><li>Apply sourcing policies and execute sourcing program initiatives, including deflation activities and supply chain risk mitigation </li><li>Support initiatives such as lead time reduction, New Product Introduction (NPI), payment terms, and cash flow improvements </li><li>Manage projects within a global matrix organization </li><li>Act as the primary contact for supply partners regarding operational needs </li></ul>
