<p>LINCOLN - SUDBURY REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT 390 LINCOLN ROAD SUDBURY, MA 01776</p> <p>EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY 2025-2026 SCHOOL YEAR</p> <p>JOB POSTING</p> <p>Title: Physical Education / Health (Wellness) Teacher (.25 FTE)</p> <p>Position Summary: Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks a qualified (.25 FTE) Wellness Teacher. Lincoln-Sudbury offers a comprehensive four-year Wellness program, which includes a core curriculum of Intro to Wellness, Foundations of Strength Training, First Aid/CPR, Outdoor Pursuits, Health Issues and Cardiovascular Fitness. In addition to these required courses, the department offers a variety of electives.</p> <p>Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):</p> <ul> <li>Able to teach a variety of Wellness content (physical education and outdoor education). </li><li>Additional ability to teach health education content preferred, but not required. </li><li>Serve as a positive and collaborative member of the LS community. </li><li>Plans lessons that meet the individual needs, interests and abilities of the students. </li><li>Creates a class environment that is inclusive and productive, and maintains appropriate standards of classroom behavior. </li><li>Provides timely and appropriate feedback to students, with progress reports as needed. </li><li>Communicates with parents to discuss student progress. </li><li>Pursues professional growth through activities in and out of school. </li><li>Cooperates with other professional staff in supporting student learning. </li><li>All other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred from an accredited college or university </li><li>Licensed, or eligible for licensure in Physical Education (5-12) and/or Health Education (9-12) by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary & Secondary Education. </li></ul> <p>Experience Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>3 + years educational teaching environment preferred </li><li>High School teaching experience preferred </li></ul> <p>Additional Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Proficiency in Google tools including Classroom, Slides, Sheets and Docs </li></ul> <p>Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School is committed to maintaining a work and learning environment free from discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, pregnancy, gender identity, sexual orientation, marital/civil union status, ancestry, place of birth, age, citizenship status, veteran status, political affiliation, genetic information or disability, as defined and required by state and federal laws.
